Jamar Smith was driving the car between 11:30pm and 11:45pm Monday night when the car crossed the center line and struck a tree. The accident was at South First St next to NCSA at South Research Park.

Brian Carlwell was listed in critical condition with a severe concussion as of this morning.
Jamar also had a concussion and was treated and released from Carl Hospital.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Brian for a full and speedy recovery.
